Description:
13 layers of clear plastic hang one above the other, their centers cut out in a geometric pattern that dips one into the next. Creating a sea of plastic and light causing one layer from the next to be nearly indistinguishable. The piece is in reference to the giant pacific garbage patch, whose infinitesimally small bits of plastic are now inseparable from the water in which they lie.
