Description:

A construction—the dramaturgy of an approach—a set where the action is unclear.  A narrative is coyly embedded in the wall text.  Words glint beneath mirrors that have been rendered mute.  A phrase in a dead language, amicus usque ad aras (a friend even to the altar of sacrifice).  Light emanates from a table burdened with precariously stacked vessels of milk glass.  The illumination burns through the upturned vessels, glowing uncannily in the mirrors, until our shadows pass across.
