Each of the 100 subjects in this piece had an ID style photograph taken. These photos were transformed into two symmetrical portraits made by mirroring each half of their face, resulting in 200 photographs. These are displayed along with the person's handwriting sample which was a response to the question “Does my identity lie in my ability, physicality, personality, or in some other space which cannot be defined?" These responses along with a professional handwriting analyst’s assessment of them and a recording of the analyst’s voice accompany the images. Altogether these elements disrupt the sense of a fixed identity for any of the subjects.
