Description:
Voluntary subjects were asked to describe what they spontaneously imagined when prompted to describe a monster to a forensic sketch artist. The resulting sketches were printed on pillowcases; the recordings of the interviews were played with the corresponding image. Monsters function as a lens through which we are confronted with the mutability of empirical truth, the slipperiness of semantic operations, and the inescapable proclivities that occur in objective systems.
